Crossed Key & Sword, No.3 Seal

Crossed Key & Sword, No.3 Seal, Image & Found by Len Williams (Fingers).
Found at Carnforth, Lancashire, 24mm.

Looks like a bag seal rather than a token and has a slot in the side where connecting cord could go.

A saltire of sword and key is used in several different coat of arms. The sword is symbol of St Paul and the key the symbol of St Peter.

See BSG.BS.01675 for a clearer version of this seal found in Portugal.
