Blank // head facing right, OF ENG LAND around // crown 1 1/2 to sides of crown's cross // blank (split rivet stub)

A complete four-disc alnage seal bearing a head of the type used on the cloth seals of Charles II, James II and William III. Possibly William III based on the size of the nose, see BSG.CS.01116. The value of 1 1/2d for the alnage subsidy is displayed above the crown.
