Found on the Isle of Man.
From two similar seals:- both sides have an annular design. In the centre of one side are the initials B.V. and within the double circle of the annulus are the following letters (P?)A??(N?)ES PREMIERES. On the other side SARTHE is probably the word in the centre but the A is uncertain. The writing in this ring is .BOUE . ??NE. A JUI(G?)?(E?).
Perhaps from wine exported from Sarthe in Le Mans area of France.
