One disc of a four disc alnage seal showing two lions passant with crown above 7 2 to sides, all in a ring and pellet border.
The 7 2 is thought to be for the year 1672. The attribution to Exeter is taken from a more complete seal, see 271 in Provenanced Leaden Cloth Seals by Geoffrey Egan, Sub-Department of Medieval Archaeology, University College, University of London. submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, 1987.
