Prussian, Customs Seal of Frederick The Great, Koenigsberg, Image & Held by Mantas Daubaras.
Found in Kulautuva, Lithuania, 29mm.
Crowned FR ligature, BUREAU DE KOENIGSBERG around // Eagle displayed, REGIE DES DROITS DU ROI EXTR around
Prussian custom seal of Frederick II, The Great (1740-1786), showing his monogram.
From Paul Cannon, "From the Prussian city of Köenigsberg, now Kaliningrad and Russian since the end of WWII. I think the inscription around the eagle reads (starting 1 o'clock) REGIE DES DROITS DU ROI EXTR based on info from Euro plombs. Much of the text can be made out on this seal, when you know what it is supposed to say! Interesting how the find spot in Lithuania shows that the seal hasn't travelled very far." - Euro-Plombs.
