The City arms of Amersfoort - Crowned shield with a cross. The other side has XX joined with a pellet above each X, all in a border of pellets.
From the sender, "Bombazineseal,(XX means 20 el (one el is about 68,8 cm. The length differed per area/ place (Amsterdam 68,8 cm, The Hague/ Dutch: Den Haag (also known as ‘s-Gravenhage) 69 cm, Twente (area I’m living) 58,7 cm and Belgium it even differed in the place (Wasse el 69,8 cm, used in shops 72,8 cm and for raw cloth 76,5 cm). lengtemaat."
