A searcher's seal almost certainly post alnage from the late eighteenth or nineteenth century. This seal clearly shows the name of John Walker but it is not clear what the letters following the name stand for. The most likely interpretation of the numbers and letters is Length 55 yards and Breadth 52 inches.
