Leiden cloth seal.
From Jan van Oostveen, "The text on the seal is TURXENZY DEINSLAG. It must be read as TURX EN ZYDE INSLAG. Width of the textile is 1 1/8 el which is typical for Leiden. Length is 63 el. The textile is a combination of Mohair (TURX) and silk (ZYDE). The word 'INSLAG' is a typical term used by weavers. It refers to how the combination of silk and Mohair was combined in the textile. ... And this seal can be roughly be dated 1650-1750."
