A Norwich Weavers' Company seal with six sets of initials representing the wardens matching those for 1698 - LM / MSCG / GBBF / DR = John Lombe, Bartho Meadhurst, Tho Mott, Daniell Shinn, Mathew Coats, John Grinley, James Garrett, Willm Blyth, John Bulwer, John Fox, Eleazer Durrant and Thomas Riches. From the Norwich Mayor's Court Book held at the Norfolk Records Office in Norwich, Vol.26 (fol. 46v/47). This transcription by Ursula Priestley can be found on p.409 of Provenanced Leaden Cloth Seals by Geoffrey Egan, Sub-Department of Medieval Archaeology, University College, University of London. submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, 1987.
