Found in Kent, 20mm (with sprue extends to 40mm), 20g.

With the help of another seal there are five lines one under the other - THE / LEEDS / PHOSPHATE / WORKS / (LTD.) // BASIC / SLAG.

Ward's Directory of Newcastle-on-Tyne, 1898, shows Humble & Thompson, steam ship owners and brokers, to be agents for The Leeds Phosphate Works and so they must have been in existence then.

This is a British seal from Leeds but the owning company is German (Hoyermann Phosphate Factory, Hannover) - See BSG.BS.02018
