The following article from a Northern Ireland newspaper may suggest that these Sellmer Riga seals probably relate to flax seeds. ‘Enterprise at Sixmilecross – The People’s Warehouse. The people of Sixmilecross, and for many miles around, are aware of the genuineness of the articles to be obtained in Mr R.H. Anderson’s commodious warehouse, but at the approach of the spring season it is especially necessary that they should have set before them the various lines in which he deals so successfully, and to the absolute benefit of his numerous clientelle. For the convenience of farmers he has a very fine stock of seeds and manures, including R & W’s special Red Brand Dutch and Sellmer’s Riga Flax-seed, finest Scotch and Irish perennial and Italian grass-seeds, Drogheda celebrated manures, phosphates, kainit and slag etc., while everything in the building and hardware trades can be obtained at the lowest possible prices.’ [Tyrone Constitution, 8 February 1907, p8]"
