Cloth Seal, Haarlem?, Image by StuE, Found by Doug Turner.
3.2g.
The assignment to Haarlem is tenuously based on the rope bordered number that is very like the figures on the reverse of the Haarlem cloth seals that denote the length of the cloth in Dutch ells. The other side ussually bears a sword erect with 4 mullets to sides but here although most of the outer is lost from the rivet side an animal is clearly depicted, maybe a wolf.
