Unusual seal with extra tag.

From Michel Royer, "German railway seal lead for station 'Koenigsberg 3', Company 'K.O. (KOENIGLICHE OSTBAHN)'.
Date of December 29 of the current year and the number 14 on the tongue being the position number of the operator who placed the lead.

For similar shaped German Railway seals see figure 237, page 22, nos. 12 & 13, Jörg Ansorge (2013): Kurze Fundberichte Mittelalter/Neuzeit, Rostock, Hansestadt - Bodendenkmalpflege inMecklenburg-Vorpommern, 60: 514-534., "The seal with the inscription 'D.N.L. / LAAGE' and the date '15 / 10' (Fig. 237, 12) comes from Laage, from the 1886 railway line of the Deutsch-Nordischen-Lloyd. The seal must date from before 1894, since the Lloyd Railway was nationalized in that year."
