Second line - ICZ12H = initials and numerals indicating the content of the bales.
Third line - 1786 = date of assessment.
Second side:-
First line- AO = initials for Inspection?
Second & Third line - Ч.ЕРН = Ch.YeRN
ЦОВЬ = TsOV' name of quality control officer, Cherntsov is recorded on a 1777 NP seal Arbroath (Signal Tower) Museum - ADMUS: A 1988.298*.
Fourth line - H231 = N231 = number of work station used by QA officer.

From the finder:- "The [NP] one - AO = Aktsionernoye Obschestvo [joint stock company][and third line on that side] Cherntsov in Cyrillic - year 1786." Interpretation of initials AO unconfirmed.
