French Flour Bag Seal, Image by StuE, Found by Lisa.
Found in Suffolk, 21mm, 12.4g.
Both sides have the remains of a raised circular border. On the first side FARINES is curved downward along the inside of the border with a flower head after it and 00 is at the centre. The other side also has 00 at the centre and a flower head to the side with letters curving away above and below. Above, curving downwards (L?)????(U?)EVIL(L?) with possibly another letter after that. Below curving upwards VO(U?) the rest is missing.
Farine is French for flour and 00 is a grade of flour. The mill and location has not yet been determined from the letters on the other side.
