Not a Seal, Gothic, Theriac Lid

Gothic, Image and Found by Paul Cee.
Found in Lincolnshire , 21mm.

Black lettering? on both sides.

Possibly Gothic / Lombardic ligature? Bottle top? Suggestions welcomed.

From Cathrine Davis, "if it is a cap, I would guess it's for theriac? It's awful mashed up and the reverse impression makes me wonder if it's a cap at all (they tend to have blank undersides from what I have seen). Theriac has ancient roots as opposed to orviétan, a more recent concoction."

Pharmacists sold it as late as 1884. So it could well be from a theriac bottle.
