"C.1867-1964 Thomas (and then Stephen) Pettifer and Sons Ltd (manufacturers of veterinary chemicals and medicines) were based in Crudwell." Wiltshire Community History. Crudwell is a village and civil parish in north Wiltshire, close to Malmesbury.

They produced several products for which adverts can be found in Grace's Guide and on old signs. Many old bottles also bear their labels.
