From Michel Royer, "I found an "Aimon Fion" who was regent mayor of the city of Verviers in Belgium in the 1770s/1780s. The representation of the Belgian coat of arms is of the Germanic type (with helmet and plumes). It may be this person who was also a cloth merchant in this town. Verviers being a textile city."
