German, Flour Bag Seal, M. Schultze
Schultze, M. Bag Seal, Image & Found by Donnydave.
Found near Cusworth Doncaster South Yorkshire 18mm diameter.
Bag seal with M. SCHULTZE NIE(R?)ENBURG * around a centre piece consisting of four crossed batons two with stars on each end and two with orbs on each end (cross-and-saltire). The other side has II in the middle surrounded by ROGG . MEHL. Mehl is German for flour, meal or powder. In this context it probably means this is a flour bag seal.
From Paul Cannon, "I think the name of the town on the seal is NEIDENBURG. According to the following link this was in Eastern Prussia but is today known as Nidzica and is in Poland Euro-Plombs. For an image of the mill in 1910 and other information see Albert Gieseler:- M. Schultze, Walzmühle."
