0 Seal, Image & Found by YorkyPete.
Found in North Yorkshire, 16mm diameter.
The number 0 or letter O is on one side of the seal. The other has an inverted triangle of (possibly) letters cupped inside two sprigs of leaves. There is lettering curved all around the border of this but only the odd one can be made out. The three shapes inside the foliage may be the three tours from the coat of arms of Tours in France?
The O suggests it is a flour bag seal:- "Flour used to be categorised into '00', '0', '1' and '2' grades, '00' being the finest and whitest and working down to the almost wholemeal grade '2' flour." From Flour Of Italy.
