From Philippe Lanez, "Obverse legend is * Hte. - MASSET, curving downwards and St.OMER curving upwards, around a Watt, ball regulator.
Reverse reads MARS // 907 // CYLINDRES, for march 1907 production.
Hte is short form for Haute, here = Upper.. MASSET is the name of the owner in the 1900's.
Though the place name was Haute Meldyck (river name from flamisch Molen = mills).
Mr. Masset owned, ar least 2 mills and lands around.
We can find in archives an exchange of acres, between parties.
