Cloth Seal, Alnage, Crown, EM, Image & Found by Neil Pitcher. Found on the Thames foreshore, 18mm. Gouged & indented // crown, E M below Official crowns were normally only found on state endorsed alnage seals. The initials EM may well be those of the alnager.
