Cloth Seal, London Coat of Arms, Gloria in Excelsis, Image & Found by Goldenballsdetecting.
Found on the Thames foreshore, size is 43mm.
Complete two disc seal with connecting strip and rivet at the top. The riveted side shows an angel in pleated dress with palm leaf in right hand and garbe or torch? in the left hand, inscription around in annulus of pellets - *GLORIA*IN*EXCELSIS*16 32. Other side shows the arms of London with foliate design to sides and inscription curved above - .DE. LONDINO* all in a border of pellets.
