Found on Thames Foreshore, 18mm.
NOVI / SAD, ZAVOD ZA (POLJISTR?).* around // Socialist Republic of Serbia emblem
Created in 1945, the Socialist Republic of Serbia was one of the six constitutional republics of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. It was the largest republic in terms of population and territory. Its capital, Belgrade, was also the federal capital of Yugoslavia.
From Kevin Mud Mammal Dyer, "Thanks to a clearer seal I found in the same spot on Sunday and a bit of googling. It reads ZAVOD ZA POLJ. (short for poljoprivredna) ISTR. (short for istrazivanja). Which translates as Institute for Agricultural Research. Very much in keeping with the Danish seals".
