Cloth Seal, Alnage, Rose Seeded

Cloth Seal, Alnage, Rose Seeded, Image & Found by John GM.
Found on the Thames foreshore, 18mm, 6.9g.

No rivet is obvious suggesting two inner discs from a four-disc alnage seal. One disc is stamped with a rose with indecipherable inscription. The other disc has distinct markings but they can not be made out.

Possibly similar to MOL 86.235 an Ipswich / Woodbridge alnage seal, see Elton, 2017, Cloth Seals, p.133.
