The main aim was the serving and improving of agricultural practices in Finland, using the cooperative model. “The trade in seed grain, where quality facts rose to the surface, was particularly problematic ………………. Although [Hankkija] started with seed trading, by guaranteeing its quality, by 1910 its largest product groups were fertilisers and forages”. The organisation expanded into many areas of agriculture such as farm machinery, animal feeds and even the promoting of electrification of farms and dairies. Several of the products which Hankkija dealt with, could have utilised a seal such as this.
