Privy mark heart type incorporating (O M)? / R H // blank
Probably a dyers one-part (bulla type) seal, very similar to those shown in Fig.37 in Geoff Egans 'Lead Cloth Seals and Related Items in the British Museum' which he categorises as a dyer's one part seals found ‘in some numbers ... from Trig Stairs to London Bridge’. He dates them from the late 16th to 17th centuries. Interestingly not found on the Thames foreshore.
