Cloth Seal, Alnage, Crown over Double Rose (Kent?)

Cloth Seal, Alnage, Crown over Double Rose, Image & Found by Billy Doyle.
Found in ?, 17mm.

Crown over double rose C C to sides, inscription around (mostly missing Lombardic?) // stamped but image not clear

A complete two disc alnage cloth seal possibly from Kent and the reign of Henry VIII - see p.137, Provenanced Leaden Cloth Seals by Geoffrey Egan, Sub-Department of Medieval Archaeology, University College, University of London, submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, 1987. "A number of seals with a crown over a double rose and Lombardic-letter legends have been recorded: crown over double rose, letter to each side, S:PAO*VEAL:I:CO: KENT(A) around (Lombardic letter, the last letter in the legend varies from stamp to stamp) //-
A variant includes an initial letter 'U' as an abbreviation for 'alnage' - S'V'PAO... I'COx (KENT). Presumably the letters to the sides of the roses are the initials of alnagers. ... The design on these seals is very similar to that on some coins from the reign of Henry VIII issued from c.1526-47"
