Cloth dyers seal with W above SC in raised letters. The W probably stands for woad. The incomplete madder dye bag is a recognised sign of a dyer of cloths - see Fig.35, London Dyers' Company seals, Geoff Egan, British Museum Occasional Paper 93, Lead Cloth Seals & Related Items in the British Museum.
