The inner parts of a four-part alnage seal for Exeter with alnager's initials PW (see p.372, Elton, S., Cloth Seals, An Illustrated Reference Guide to the Identification of Lead Seals Attached to Cloth: from the British Perspective.

The lions are of the style used on Charles II seals - BSG.CS.00165.
