A four-disc alnage seal for Yorkshire, COM EBOR - County of Yorkshire in post medieval abbreviated Latin. The initials probably stand for the alnager / searcher. These types of seals are usually dated to the early 17th century.

See p.143, MOL 78.227/15, Elton, Cloth Seals, Archaeopress, 20017.

See also BSG.CS.01488 and PAS SF-5C779E, which shows that an outer disc was probably stamped with the legend (SE)RCHED.
And see BSG.CS.01446 and PAS NLM-731615 for inner discs of this type.
