Identified by Michel Royer, "This is a lead seal from the town of "Sagan" today Zagan in Poland see the forum here: Euro-Plombs, The arms of the town of Sagan include:
- in 1302: town gate with knight holding spear and shield marked "S" standing near the closed gate.
- in 1428: city gate with closed gate and eagle between the two towers.
- In 1602: Emperor Rudolf II added the lion to the city's coat of arms.
This seal can therefore be dated to a period after 1602 by the presence of the lion between the two towers."
