Found near Dorchester, Dorset.

It is difficult to know where a privy or merchant mark ends and a ligature or monogram begins! This could show a ligature / monogram of three initials (E?)OW with a plant frond to its right but the vertical orientation is more in keeping with a privy mark. What ever it is categorised as it is most likely to have been used to identify the cloth worker (and often his family) who carried out one of the several processes needed to produce a finished cloth.
