Blank // privy mark of the '4'-type with B incorporated all on a W base, mullet to sides

This seal originally appeared to be dated 1577, which is probably acceptable for the early part of the period that this style covers, however, on closer inspection the marking is more likely to be a W. XX and W's are common as bases for these types of privy marks - see BSG.CS.00988, BSG.CS.00059 and BSG.CS.00575 for examples of W.
