Blank // head of George I // Britannia seated, 1 1/2 to sides // crowned ligate GR

A four-disc alnage seal from the reign of George I showing his head on disc 2. The 1 1/2 to the sides of Britannia on disc 3 is the subsidy charged by the alnager. The rove disc side (disc 4) appears to have a variation of the crowned Royal Monogram (Georgius Rex) with the GR in ligature form.
