From Paul Cannon, "Here is a possible candidate for this dyer’s seal RICHARD [P]IT[T]S / DYER. I can make out the bottom of the letter ‘I’. The correct number of letters also fit in. The will of Richard Pitts, Dyer of London was proved 2 August 1742 ref PROB 11/720/8 The National Archives.
