HOMCo stands for the Hull Oil Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Founded 1888. North(west) of Ann Watson Street. Early user of solvent extraction for oil seed processing, and early processor of castor seed. Soap and oilseed cake manufactured from 1906 and 1907. Developed into a large mill by c.1920. Acquired by BOCM 1922, closed 1953, (Wikipedia & Brace, Harold W.
