Cloth Seal, Danish, Crowned Monogram, Christian VII?

Cloth Seal, Danish, Crowned Monogram, Christian VII? Image & Found by Hessel Tot.
Found in Netherlands?, 70mm, 82g.

8/2 / ? 30 / 40 1/2 all stamped individually, saltire design on connecting strip // crowned monogram with wreath, saltire design on connecting strip (cloth remnant remains trapped between the discs)

This could be the first Danish cloth seal recorded on this site.

Philippe Lanez identified it as possibly bearing the monogram of one of the Danish kings called Christian.
Possibly Christian VII 1766 to 1808.

The incuse markings on the rivet disc are typical of cloth seals in the 18th & 19th centuries. The number or letter I appears to have been used as a dividing line as in fractions i.e. 1/2.

The large size and weight of this seal could suggest it was used on a tapestry or other sturdy textile.
