Side 2:- No:10 (the No has two parallel lines running behind the second leg of the ornate N and joining the first leg to the o) This is thought to be the post number of the control officer, see 5.2.2.1,*
Other than the date this seal fits into Sullivan's Type 2a-b, Russian Cloth Seals in Britain: Trade, Textiles and Origins by John Sullivan, (also see Fig. 6a in Sullivan).
See similar seals with N and a number on one side, all seemingly from 1761 (see others each side of BSG.BS.00896).
