Broken seal with raised circular border and five lobed star or flower at the centre on both sides. One side has KAL curved around the top edge of the border and [S]AUM curved around the lower edge of the border. The other side has LES curved at the top and MUR curved at the bottom - hence KALES [S]AUMUR as the complete seal would appear to have the same detail on either side.
Saumur is a commune in the Maine-et-Loire department in western France.
