Found in Pulham Market,Norfolk, 30mm x 24mm.

Although this seal was found in the county containing Norwich I have been unable to identify this makers mark from the Norfolk Archaeological Society publication vol. 3 1852 that contains on page 177 'Norwich Merchant Marks' by William C. Ewing Esg. The only mark flanked by the initials W A (Plate III No. 9) belonged to William Ashwell, M.P. in 1433 and Mayor of Norwich in 1441, but the symbol between is very different to this one.
