See No.203 Fig.29, Geoff Egan, 'Lead Cloth Seals and Related Items in the British Museum' Occasional Paper 93. "Presumably a seal for a 'one-hundred' bay produced by one of the Dutch-immigrant communities." Although no clear 100 is evident on this seal it is similar to such seals and the coronet could be related to those used by the Colchester Dutch community from the Town's arms on their crown bays.
