Both sides have a circular border of pellets. Curved around the inside of this on one side is BALTIC FLOUR with WHITES straight across the middle. On the other side LANGE BROTHERS is curved around the border and a small five pointed star is in the centre.

No reference to Lange Brothers flour business has been found.

This seal maybe connected to the Baltic Flour Mill at Gateshead built by who often named mills after foreign seas, Rank's London HQ was called Baltic House. This Baltic Flour Mills closed in 1982 and opened as an art gallery in 2002.
