Found in Monmouthshire, 20mm.
One side has . NORTH SHORE (MILLS) . curved around the top and LIVERPOOL curved around the bottom with a bird (Liverpool Liver Bird) in the centre. The other side has the capital letters P above TIE.
The National Archives show the Liverpool North Shore Flour and Rice Mill Company Ltd. Registered between 1844 and 1856, and either dissolved before 1856 or re-registered by 1860.
Other records of The London office of The London and Kano Trading Co. Ltd. show the following company as one of its correspondents:- "North Shore Mill Co. Ltd., flour millers, Liverpool."
"North Shore Mill Co. Ltd. (L'pool), 1922 - 31" is also mentioned in a document (Book DBR/848 1895-1932) held at Hull History Centre (Hull City Archives).
There is also a book entitled 'North Shore Mill Company Ltd' by Broomhall, George J. S. and John H. Hubback held at the Liverpool Record Office.
