Cloth Seal, Alnage, Rose Seeded, Rose, Image & Held by Hayley Anne.
Found in England, 23mm.

Seeded rose in border of pellets // arms of England

The rose may have been crowned but it has failed to register on this example. Although both the rose and arms were used in other periods it is most probable that this seal is from the Tudor period. A seal from Ipswich (MOL 86.235) with a similar seeded rose has a Latin inscription that suggests a 16th century date in keeping with the Tudor time frame (see Elton, 2017, Cloth Seals, p.133).
