Found in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, 35mm.
Three-masted ship in full sail, secondary stamps - A, R with possibly N beneath all incuse and circular G? in relief // undeciphered design (possibly more rigging) incorporating H above a rope & tassel, secondary stamps - D (G?) incuse and circular Y in relief (cloth fibres under rivet stub)
A flag to the rear displays a cross and one on the third mast a saltire.
A parallel has been found - No.127, Fig.25 in Egan, G., Cloth Seals, p.43-86 in Salisbury & South Wiltshire Museum Medieval Catalogue, Part 3, ed. Peter Saunders, 2001, dating it to the last quarter of the seventeenth century. "Several parallels are known from London with HH accompanying the ship and different incuse letters on the first disc."
