From Mike Patrick, "This is a four disc Somerset alnage seal of Charles II dated (16)79. The lions are unusually facing in opposite directions.
Similar in design to BSG.CS.00746."
The unusually configured lions on the Exeter and this Somerset seal appear to have come from the exact same stamp indicating the same alnager for both areas.
