Found in Yorkshire, 20 mm across.
A complete 4 disc alnage cloth seal of James I. Disc 3 shows the arms of Stuart Britain with I R to the sides and 1611 above. Disc 2 is small and shows the letter D in a double circle border.
An interesting parallel with No.123 Fig.26 in Geoff Egan 'Lead Cloth Seals & Related Items in the B.M.' - Identical Stuart Arms with 1611 on but it is an unusual 3 disc seal with a lengthened connecting strip in place of the second disc. The small second disc on this one with D on it may be an intermediate stage before the second disc disappeared altogether.
