A Tiverton cloth seal probably of Samuel Foote (trading from c 1660 to 1690).

Evans Type 1.1.1.* but with 21 1/2. Other examples of this seal with 22 are recorded as Nos.1 to 4, Fig.1 p.394, Maunder, P., Tiverton Cloth: The Story of the Town's Woollen Trade 1475 - 1815.
