From Mike Patrick, "The London Gazette - 25 July 1845 Issue:20491, Page:2251, 'MARTIN JOHN WEST, Esq. one of Her Majesty's Commissioners authorized to act under a Commission of Bankrupt, bearing date the 21st day of October 1828, awarded and issued forth against Lepton Dobson, of Leeds, in the county of York, Woollen Cloth Merchant, Dealer and Chapman (carrying on business at Leeds aforesaid, in copartnership with George Dobson, late of the same place, but now residing at Lisbon, in the kingdom of Portugal, under the firm of Lepton and George Dobson), will sit on the 16th day of August next, at eleven in the forenoon precisely, at the District Court of Bankruptcy, in Leeds, in order to Audit the Accounts of the Assignees of the estate and effects of the said bankrupt under the said Commission, pursuant to the Acts of Parliament made and now in force relating to bankrupts.'"
